AAUSC Spotlight: Moving students from primary to secondary discourse: A literacy approach

This session examines genre-based strategies for moving students from primary or personal forms of discourse to secondary or public forms of discourse in the literacy-oriented, German-language classroom. Curricular units that require students to present a balanced discussion of the Austrian Burka ban and German immigration policy are presented.
