This session focuses on how genre-based writing instruction facilitates the integration of interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication in the lower-level language classroom. Presenters share sample instructional activities and findings from a 2017 study of instructor and learner perspectives on genre-based writing in a second-semester French class.
