AAUSC Annual Business Meeting, Panel Session, and Reception

The topic of the Business Meeting's panel discussion will be "Dealing with
misconceptions about the role of scholarship and creative production among language program directors and applied linguists in FL departments and in the humanities." The goal will be to generate ideas for advocating for and raising awareness of LPD scholarly and creative work. The participants will be Cheryl Krueger (University of Virginia), Hiram Maxim (Emory University), Kate Paesani (Wayne State University) and Glenn Levine (UC Irvine).
The business meeting and panel will be followed by a catered reception. If you know of new LPDs who are not members of our organization, please bring them along!
