Alessia Blad is from Milan, Italy. She has been teaching at the University of Notre Dame since 1999. In 2015 she earned her Doctorate in Modern Languages in Italian and French. She teaches Beginning and Intermediate Italian language courses and the Foreign Language Teaching Methodology & Second Language Acquisition graduate course for the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. She is the Language Course Coordinator for Italian.
